You are your child’s caregiver and protector. When divorce rears it’s ugly head, you’ve got to be sure your children are buffered as much as possible. Here are some key ideas to consider to be sure that occurs.

You’ll never read any words from my pen that indicate that divorce is just “jolly good fun.” It isn’t. It’s painful. Nobody on this earth thinks “Gosh, wouldn’t it just be great to get a divorce?” No, we’d slog thru mud up to our necks to avoid it.

All of us hope we will never be put in the situation of losing contact with our grandchildren and having to look at what grandparents rights are all about. It is a special relationship between grandparent and grandchild and often very close. Often grandparents rights are confusing because they are dealt with differently in many states in the U.S.

Wouldn’t it be great if Grandparents rights were dealt with the same in all 50 states in the U.S.? Every state as this moment in time has it’s own laws and this can be very confusing for grandparents looking for information after being denied visitation rights.
