Scrapbooking Video Guide

Scrapbooking is a very hands on pastime which is why I found a scrapbooking video guide a must.

It is very easy to start off on any creative project and let your ego carry you away - I know I’ve been there.

But as with everything there are some boundaries, and guidelines out there to get beautiful results that we’d never have given thought to ourselves.

Also; especially with scrapbooking you can sometimes get a bit stuck for ideas and wish for a new lease of life as far as creative expression and imagination goes.

How Can I Get More Pictures Per Page?

Holidays and special events are filled with memories which we do our best to capture on film. Often there are only a few really “good” photographs which, alone on a page, don’t do justice to all the special moments which make the time so memorable.

SO… faced with so many pics and such special memories…what do we do?

1. Choose those really “good” photos as key elements to tell your story. Print these larger depending on the requirements and size of your page or project. Matt or double-matt them individually or “pop” them to make them the focus of the design.

Organizing Your Scrapbook, Paper Arts And Beading Supplies

For today’s column, we’re going to talk about storage options for our scrapbook, paper and beading supplies. If you’re a regular reader of mine, you know I’m always saying, “Go vertical!” And it doesn’t matter if we’re talking about a craft room, kitchen, bedroom or garage; to maximize space you must go vertical.

I love the upright towers for storing scrapbook sheets and stamp pads. If you purchase the plastic variety, there are pros and cons to them. On the plus side, they’re inexpensive and the drawers are usually clear, enabling you to see their contents. On the downside, the drawers are flimsy when partially pulled out. Your other option is to reuse an old upright wooden chest of drawers. You may already have something like this tucked away in your garage or basement–go check it out now! (well, not right at this exact moment)
