To grow orchids you need to give them water, light, air and fertilizer. If only it was that simple. So how do you take care of orchids? To set you on the right path follow these orchid growing tips.
1 Choose a variety suited to the environmental conditions that you will be able to provide. For example, if you have a west facing window sill that’s obstructed by trees you should pick a variety that likes lower light conditions.
2. The growing medium for orchids should be New Zealand sphagnum moss or a fine or medium orchid bark mix. Do not use soil.
